My 1st Grader came home with a Scholatic Newspaper the monday before election day. They had asked him who he was voting for. So now, if nothing else, the school knows who my son's parents are mostly likely voting for. The teacher could then easily proceed to politcal indoctrination of a 6 YEAR OLD. It exercise was meant to be a reading comprehension excercise, where the student writes down they like Obama because he likes burritos. My son wrote nothing of the kind. He Wrote because McCain is older and wiser,and knows more about being president. That is an opinion from my mouth, not the newspaper. I suspect other children had the same experience. This as the very least is dangerous, and could very easily be nefarious.
