I know! I thought it was hilarious how he was wondering aimlessly around the stage as Obama was talking, he was also staring off into space for long periods as he was answering some questions.........it was very eerie.
He was listening to the earphone in his ear telling him how to respond. Imaging Rove's creepy dusky voice "John, twist what he says..."
Honestly... issues aside.... Obama comes across so much more Presidential. McCain seems like he's trying to sell me 'Life Insurance'.... everything is a pitch, a pander... I'm was waiting for him to reach into a briefcase and ask "Well have you seen our new annuity program?"
I agree with McCain on some issues... I agree with Obama on others. On issues it was a draw... on style Obama gets a tip.

LOL!!! Now, this is a thread I like! Even thought I am a McCain supporter, you guys made me laugh! This is what political discusion should be like - a bit of humor injected into the debate. The Rove comment was also very funny, but sad, because I wish McCain would take a little advice and coaching from someone. You know he's just a crusty ol' geezer - the kind where you can't tell them anything, they know it all. My dad's like that, actually...
My favorite part of the debate was McCain claiming he wanted a spending freeze, and then went on to advocate spending 300 billion to buy up **** mortgages.
