I've been screaming all along this election will be closer then most people think no matter what the polls say. I sicnerely believe that if they come up with a poll showing Obama up by 15 points the day before the election, it will still come down to the wire.

1. They poll a very high percentage of under age 30.

2. Under aged 30 democrats don't vote! Republicans who are under aged 30, do vote. that is 35% of under aged 30 democrats vote and 61% of under aged 30 republicans vote.

3. Bradley factor and if you think it won't be an issue here, you are dreaming. Some political experts have stated up to 7% might come into play here. All agree at least a 4-5% factor minimum!!!!

4. McCain still holds an ace, I have an idea what it is, but for unknown reasons, he has not played it.......yet. I thought he would last night, but we will have to wait and see.

5. The heavy cheating attempts by the democratic party and its supporters are being discovered before the election and not after. ACORN is just the start. Estimates of over 26,000 illegal registered voters in Ohio and 39,000 in Florida are expceted to be discovered in the coming days!

6. More democrats by far are survyed in the polls.

7. McCain will not quit. He has comeback all his life and in the primaries, he was flat broke, had no support, fired his entire campaign staff and was aksed to step down. Despite this, look where he is now. He will not go down without a serious fight.

8. don't forget at exactly 28 days before the 2000 election, polls showed Gore up by 10 points! Look what happened! No this is not a racist comment, but fact, Gore was white. Not that that matters to me, but again, the bradley factor!

This election will be VERY close! I don't know who will win, but a sweep by Obama is not likely to happen.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be, "The Election will be close because I say!"

Those statistics are all factual. It is not wishful thinking on my part. Think about what I posted and dispute it if you like, or, if you can.

Then submit your resume to Rasmussen and Gallup. You apparently know alot more than they do. They'd pay big bucks for a man with your brains.

TOTALLY agree with this. I don't think he has many supporters and if be comes up with more big government schemes like buying mortgages he is going to lose more and more right wingers.

Several polls really on calling people at home on landlines. I honestly don't know anyone under 30 that uses a landline anymore.

My MIL got a call from a pollster and was asked if she is a registered dem or rep, when she said dem they said then we will mark you down as voting for Obama. She said no, I am changing so I can vote for McCain.

They hung up on her. She thinks it was Gallup.

She is 76 years old and has not voted forever and will be voting this time to make sure Obama does not get to the WH.

Go granny.

Granny's against Obama rock!!
