The first time wright mentioned farrakhan in any positive way is the day obama should have left that church. The fact that he didn't makes me wonder if either obama agrees with wright and farrakhans ideology or more realistically obama cozened up to wright for political gain.
Or maybe he had other reasons for staying? Since Wright was like a father to him, maybe--like many of us who had racist fathers--he just silently forgave him and prayed for him? And I'm sure Obama finds Farrakhan to be, at best, a thoroughly distasteful person.
What you should be focusing on is Obama's policies, not trying to determine the "real" or "secret" Obama. Because there isn't any "secret" Obama. That's the doubt implanted by McCain/Palin: "Just who IS this "Barack Hussein Obama," hmmmm? Funny name, wouldn't you say? And look: he knew a domestic terrorist when he sat on an education board with him. Not guilty, you say? But Obama was CHAIRMAN of that board. Think about THAT, mister. Pretty suspicious, wouldn't you say? And look: his plane is dirty. And look: his middle name is "Hussein." Oh, and explain THIS: his wife hates America. And how odd: His mother is white and his father is black. But oh dear: His father is a foreigner. Hmmm. I wonder what kind of strange associations his father has? OMG: Do you think Obama lied about his birth certificate???? And look: Here's a photo of Obama in Muslim costume. If THAT isn't proof that he's a terrorist, I don't know what is! And he's a socialist, too! Did you know that? He wants to conquer America with all of his dirty, Muslim, socialist, terrorist friends. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!"
