"The McCain campaign estimated the crowd at 25,000 people, but local police and fire marshal put it closer to 12,000. The convention center holds 20,000 people."

Sad isn't it?

How about...

The crowd started chanting "Drill, baby, drill." But she corrected them: "It's mine, baby, mine." WTF???

Supporters didn't seem to mind that she mispronounced the word "Norfolk" and awkwardly used the term "the" Hampton Roads.

Why do they not care? Maybe there is a "palin Kool Aid"?

"The next President won't have time to get used to the office. He won't have the luxury of studying up on the issues before he acts. He will have to act immediately. And to do that, he will need experience, courage, judgment and a bold plan of action to take this country in a new direction."

And he picked Palin???

"I have a plan to protect the value of your home..." But doesn't say what the plan entails.

"I have a plan to let retirees and people nearing retirement keep their money in..." But doesn't say what the plan entails.
"I have a plan to rebuild the retirement savings of every worker." But doesn't say what the plan entails.
"I have a plan to hold the line on taxes and cut them to make America more competitive and create jobs here at home." Uh????

And they say Obama doesn't give any details?

Well I have a plan...and it doesn't include a vote for McCain!

Do you have a link of the fire marshal saying that? Or are you just taking the word of the author, a WaPo author, who in all likely hood is an obama supporter.

Pathetic! No, nobody recorded the fire marshal and put it on you tube as proof for you but...

Put this into google and look what happens...
"Virginia Beach fire marshal McCain 12000"

While a lot of the stories are the same word for word, there are plenty from other authors.

For some size matters. It isn't the size of the wand that gets the rabbit out of the hat but the skill of the magician. Now since the Republicans have no skill they have to wave a big wand and try to distract the audience from realizing that their hat is empty.
