...Except that Congress' Democrats are more Conservative, not far Left. This has shown repeatedly since the 2006 elections when the Democrats took the majority. As broken as the Democratic party usually is on general policy, I don't see them working hand in hand on a daily basis.

Stop listening to the media and maybe you'll start to feel grateful that you live in the greatest country in the world.

BO scares the hell out of us.
I have a friend who is a die hard Democrat and is always complaining about the last 8 years. This same person owns a buisness that 8 years ago had 7 employees. I asked him the other day when he was whining about Bush how many people work for him now. His answer, 31. Looks like the last 8 years really sucked for him. It's just a Democrat thing, if there party is not in charge they whine.

Are they hiring? I lost my job and despite having 2 graduate degrees from good unis (one Ivy) its tough finding a job. And investments are way down. ITs not just Joe the Plumber having trouble finding work. A friend of mine who made >200k in NY is happy to take a job making 75k..

Chicago is a symptom and result of CORRUPT politicians resulting in Obama's METEORIC rise to fame because of his shady ties.

The BUSH Administration has nothing to do with Chicago. BARACK OBAMA represents ILLINOIS and is the U.S. Senator of Illinois and for Chicago. And OBAMA has done nothing relevant to improve Chicago. If he cared about his hometown Chicago, IL then he should have run for mayor of Chicago. But obviously he is looking for the ultimate power and wants to become the most powerful leader in the world and control the money of the corporations and the rich.

Of course, Chicago is looking forward to that money.
