It will definitely be interesting to see how Nevada votes next Tuesday. IMO, NV is going turn turn as blue as the thumbs up smiley.

Hmmm, I just noticed the thumbs up smiley is democratic blue--and the mad smiley is republican red. LOL, seems like a sign to me....

My kids voted early. Obama! Their friends voted early! Obama. UNLV is full of resident students and lots of them are voting. What will be interesting to see is a post Viet Nam, post baby boom president in office. I think Obama is imbued with the WWII spirit from living in Hawaii, the we can do this if we all get together, spirit.

Woo hoo--delighted to hear people are voting early, especially the college kids.

ReviewJournal.com - News - THREE GROUPS: Forecasts of voting lag, so far

Quote:
Analysts have predicted that new voters, young voters and Hispanic voters will turn out in record numbers in this election. But as Nevadans continue to flock to the polls, turnout among those three groups is lagging, at least in the early going.
Maybe it'll pick up.

Of course the full count is nearly 2 weeks away. Still, it is indicative of the higher level of enthusiam Democrats have for their candidate.

Silly Lord Balfor, of course there are more Democrats voting early, the Republicans are still working and haven't had the time yet.

And here in Florida, already 2 million people have voted early as of today...although there will be no count of those votes until election day.
