My kids voted early. Obama! Their friends voted early! Obama. UNLV is full of resident students and lots of them are voting. What will be interesting to see is a post Viet Nam, post baby boom president in office. I think Obama is imbued with the WWII spirit from living in Hawaii, the we can do this if we all get together, spirit.

Woo hoo--delighted to hear people are voting early, especially the college kids.
Analysts have predicted that new voters, young voters and Hispanic voters will turn out in record numbers in this election. But as Nevadans continue to flock to the polls, turnout among those three groups is lagging, at least in the early going.
Just took a look at the morning paper here in the hotel room in the Vegas area and see the lead story says that early turnout has 65,000 Democrats vs 30,000 Republicans voting - clearly an advantage for Obama at this point.
Of course the full count is nearly 2 weeks away. Still, it is indicative of the higher level of enthusiam Democrats have for their candidate.

Silly Lord Balfor, of course there are more Democrats voting early, the Republicans are still working and haven't had the time yet.
And here in Florida, already 2 million people have voted early as of today...although there will be no count of those votes until election day.
