Sorry, g-man. When I asked Steve that question, he fled the interview rather than answer the question. Just what they were accusing Biden of.

If you see Steve in another thread sometime, direct him back here and ask him to answer.

You spun it to make a silly, stupid little insult, rather than address the issue. Now you're doing it again.

As I said, you'll go far with the GOP.
Nope, what she said was that it is insulting for someone to be labeled a Muslim, which she also equated with terrorism. I disagreed with that statement and will continue to do so. Again, I'll let her explain what would be so wrong about being a Muslim. You won't need to defend her if she will step up and defend herself.

And I told you to read the article. It was not part of the video. It was after the video when they decided they wouldn't talk to the station anymore.

Oh ok. I got it now. I thought Biden ended his interview while it was occuring. I was wrong. Sorry about that. I'm not so sure that was the right decision by the Obama campaign to cut them off like that.

I looked at that interview and it was pretty evident that Biden was getting frustrated with the questions but he did not end the interview. I understand why the Obama camp decided not to interview with her again and if I was Biden, I definitely would not subject my wife to that kind of questioning. Barbara West brought up every smear she could think of in the interview and everytime Biden answered the question, she tried to pick another smear. From Acorn, to spreading the wealth, to Obama being a Marxist, then a Socialist etc.

I also looked at the interviews she did with Barack Obama and John McCain and it is extremely evident what her motives are. With Barack she wanted to talk about the issues and unsuccessfully tried to get him to put down Sarah Palin. With McCain the whole interview was about Obama and his associations. She even tried to blame the mortgage crisis and the economic turmoil that the country is in at Obama's feet. The interviews did not appear to be very even handed too me and it appeared as if another agenda was being worked on. So with that being said, for what it is worth, I agree that she should not receive any further interviews or access to Obama, Biden or members of that campaign. Hard questions for the candidates to answer is one thing, smear tactics and disinformation does not serve anyone well. With her being a journalist, she should be asking questions that affect the people that listen to her and if smearing Obama is all that her fans want, then it is another sad day in journalism.

Thanks,Idahogie. Now I won't haveta go back & find & quote that post (was going to after reading the several pages that popped up in the few minutes since I posted,LOL)
Seems the interviewer was making an attempt at the latest Buzz-word: Marxist. They are running the others into the ground. Why is this just a GOP thang??? I don't see people on the Dem side doing this.

Oh ,hell. Now I feel bad. I hate this "US VS. Them" BS. I really do. I really hope & pray that all of this stuff will soon fall by the wayside,& hopefully this country can pull together sometime soon. I know it sounds hokey, but the first time I saw Obama,on some talk show a few years ago,he really made me think. He was talking about being from a mixed background, both black & white,& having experianced being unaccepted from BOTH sides. Talked about the "red & blue" division in this country. He struck me as genuine,as truly caring about PEOPLE,regardless of who/what they were. I remember thinking, "This guy NEEDS to become president one day. Maybe he could actually bring this country together, somehow."
No joke. So odd that he is headed there now... I sincerely hope & pray that he is able to inspire America into becoming the United country it once was.

West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment.
"Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said.
I'd say she is wrong about it being Marxist.......

If you're rich, go shopping—that's one of the most public-spirited things you can do these days. The best reason for giving you a tax cut, too, is that you'll spend it on a high-performance car, a super-thin laptop, a really neat PalmPilot, a wireless modem and a bioengineered cure for your back pain. Technology has displaced the Treasury as the most effective instrument for redistributing wealth.
