I was home to vote and had a shock! A thirty-something professional couple that lives a short block from my house have an Obama/Biden sign on their front lawn. Know that this couple, especially the wife, have been rabid GOPers for as long as I have known them, 8 years. I didn't believe that there was anything short of their candidate cross dressing in public (and they'd likely find a good reason for it before crossing party lines) would my neighbors ever support a Democratic ticket!! Seeing that sign on their lawn, oh baby, I believe North Dakota could go blue!!

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Obama carried some classic "red" states; superb proof that today's GOP truly is a trainwreck of a party.
