Have we learned nothing?
Don't you understand I don't like or trust him. He reminds me of 9/11 all over again, and you really had to live in the NY area to feel that, I did. I had friends that never made it home that night.

I think in THIS particular thread, people should do one of the following:

A) If you watched the infomercial, comment on it specifically
B) If you didn't watch it, there are probably umpteen thousand threads delving into the specifics of your ranting and raving. Find one!

Thank you!

Here's a Tums, chew, calm down and read your bible because I'm sure you'll feel much better for it. While you're reading if you also happen to run across the part where no believer can judge another person's relationship with God, I'm sure God would appreciate it.

He broke a promise he made last year by not accepting public money and has raised over $600,000,000. Spent over 20,000,000 on a commercial ad. He should spread some of that wealth! If the Republicans raised or spent that much it would be taken to the supreme court! There is not much to choose from in this election but I don't care for that hypocrite either. I didn't watch the high priced infomercial.
Oh right, you're one of thoseeeee people. One of those that believes all Arabs and Muslims are responsible for 9/11.

Why in heaven's name would he remind you of 9/11?

And please don't say "because he's Muslim."

Yes, I too want people to help themselves - I firmly 100% believe in helping hands, NOT hand-outs. I already, like vast majority of Americans, pay ~1/3 of my wages to taxes - and I do not want to pay more! Yet, all I hear from Obama's followers is to 'trust' him.. well, have you really looked at his record? Both pre-Congress and then his voting record?

I must of missed something in one of his speeches, I have not heard from Obama or Biden anything about handouts! Where did this come from? McCain / Palin? I have heard BO say he was going to roll back the tax levels to those of Bill Clinton and not continue to give the oil companies big tax breaks. I have heard him talk about renewable energy, help for small business, and GASP! healthcare for everyone. But where is any of that a hand out? The only ones that have been getting handouts have been the oil companies, oh and Wall Street.

Jefferson did set a firm guideline for our Foreign Policy.

I consider the people who constitute a society or nation as the source of all authority in that nation, as free to transact their common concerns by any agents they think proper, to change these agents individually, or the organisation of them in form or function whenever they please; that all the acts done by those agents under the authority of the nation, are the acts of the nation, are obligatory on them, & enure to their use, & can in no wise be annulled or affected by any change in the form of the government, or of the persons administering it.

Socialism is a social theory that things will be shared. The two extremes of socialism is Marxism and Communism. One advocated that the people rise up against those in power to take what they are "entitled" to. The other advocates full government intervention to make sure the wealth is evenly dispersed. Marx would have never considered government intervention to be a part of his ideology. In fact, under true Marxism, government itself would be abolished since it creates a ruling class with power greater than the average person.

Yes, it states " Do not judge others, lest thee be judged". What are you saying?
