I'm just sad as those who proclaim to be Christians can then say when someone isn't. The older I get as a Christian myself I fight this right wing high and mighty stuff.. I believe what I believe to be right but I have learned that judging people based on what YOU think isn't right. Jesus himself befriended a prostitute. Judge less be not judged. I believe Obama is a Christian but to be a President does that mean he has to believe what I believe. Some people think that to live in faith means they have the right to judge what others believe and they don't. To be a Christian means to be Christ Like. To say someone isn't a Christian based on what. is really sad.
I was a little apprehensive that the infomerical might be a little over the top and gaudy, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how well done and thougtful it was. And I too was moved and got teary eyed by some of the stories, messages, and images.
However, what I appreciated most was that Barack Obama had 30 minutes during which he could have slammed McCain and Bush, but he didn't mention either of them once. Instead he focused on his own agenda and what he would do for the counry as presdient. What class!
In contrast, McCain is being interviewed on Larry King and for 30 minutes McCain did nothing but trash Obama and his policies while telling us nothing about his own vision and policy agenda for the country. This is why he will lose miserably next week.
Sad, that so many people are buying the kool-aid of this 'unity' BS...

Yes they did. But that doesn't change the fact that the bailout was a part of "big government". It just shows that there are times when the government should step in and help.
I agree there are times. Unfortunately, the legislation was a badly written piece of garbage intended not to help main street. I wish one of them would have stood up and said, you know, I read this thing. But they didn't. They took their lobbyist money and voted for it against the better advice of economists and their constituents.
Bah. It won't matter anyway. It's not like a few billion dollars is all that much money when they have the deep pockets of taxpayers to take it from.
People like me? You don't even know me. I'm a mom with 2 children, and a Christian.
He's not afraid to go to church, he's probably at a Mosque.

Ok,so what if he was at a Mosque? Does that make him a bad man? So are you implying that you are a better Christian than him? How would you know?I thought TRUE Christians didn't judge others.
I am happy the Senator is focused on education for our youth.
