If the Palestinians are so bad, why does our government (Bush mainly) want to help get them their own State? It's one of the few things Bush has tried to accomplish that makes sense.

They called on the same thing as Iran wants....Israel of the map.

So this guy is also in the same living room as Obama and William Ayers, etc...

I'm not saying that Obama shares the same views since we only hear Obama's scripted versions...but when he is approached unscripted I wonder what the real Obama stands for.....

How many people have so many associations and share free time with them in the same living room?

It is different for a journalist who met these people for their job and had an interview...the didn't sit privately in their living room for a farewell party.
Here is the problem. Obama already stepped in to the digital TV debate, which means that he is very willing to start exercising his new authority. So his reticence on Gaza on the excuse that Bush is still in charge seems a thin veneer indeed.

I doubt if a permanent solution can every be found. On the one hand hamas broke a ceasefire agreement and is paying the price; but one can also say the force with which Israel responded is excessive (Israel's shock and awe). But when you see how Palestinians have been living in tough conditions in Gaza for decades since they were pushed from their homes, you can symphatize. Then it becomes a debate on who really has the rights to the land... Such a complex issue...
This is information the brilliant OP left out.
