The long answer has been provided by Sarah Palin herself and it has now lasted more than 60 days and in my opinion is a mile wide and an inch deep. What could I possible say that would encompass her gross ignorance of issues outside of Alaska that she herself hasn't already provided?

Sarah Palin would have lost the GOP primary. Her "base" (the Christian fundies) would have flocked to Huckabee. Huckabee is a much better politician than her.

Palin would never make it out of the GOP primaries, I'd love to see Guliani's line of attack on her...They would have so much to use...

I actually like Huckabee as a person. He is much more authentic than Sarah Palin.

I watched her give a speech in Raleigh this weekend. It was carried by our local 24 hour news channel. As if we really need that, but I can't remember a single thing she said. Not one word. Hmm.

Can you imagine what Senator McCain would have said about the Governor during the Primaries?

Ok, this made me laugh when I paused to consider it. Palin, standing among the likes of Romney, Giuliani, McCain, Thompson, and Paul! Would have looked more like the Gong Show than a primary debate.

Palin will probably not withstand this latest experience enough to be re-elected to public office in Alaska. She may be good as a talk radio show host.....as she is good at exciting the goons and kooks of the far right and she is without scruples and has no core values....but I believe her political career is over; except she would probably be a good fund raiser in certain circles.

It made me laugh when I first considered it as well.

Just imagining the Governor in attendance at the Reagan Library among the piranhas of that day makes me wonder what it would have been like. That was the big time show and Governor Romney fires his cannon with precision...would she have survived after or during?!
