It turns out that the election's being run in a fair and transparent manner. This according to Governor Tim Pawlenty, one of the rising stars in the GOP, and a leading contender for the VP slot in this year's GOP ticket. Pawlenty told Fox's Chris Wallace that there was no truth to the rumor that ballots were found in the trunk of an election official's car. Pawlenty said told Wallace, "As of this moment we know of no actual evidence of wrongdoing or fraud in the process."

The story about "found ballots" was pushed by Coleman's campaign lawyer Fritz Knack and was debunked here.

I guess you wingnuts who fall for every claim of Democratic wrongdoing will just have to find something else to pin the blame on. Because we know it couldn't be the GOP's lack of credibility with the public and its vacuous policy prescriptions. Of course not.

Why does Pawlenty hate this country?

Franken just wasn't very funny on his TV appearances. But I listened to him on the radio a few times and I was impressed by his knowledge of current issues and his rational approach to solutions.

Go get 'em, Al.

Pawlenty just said that because he's still hoping for the VP nomination from Obama!

I sure as hell hope so, I've been pulling for him since day one. I just sent $25.00 off to help pay for a fair recount, too. The Repugs might try and steal this if they can concentrate their energies in keeping this seat and in keeping Georgia with Chambliss. Right now election commissions earn our appreciation in having experience finding a winner in these monumental decisions affecting us all.

So I feel good about Alaska and OK about Minnesota. Is anybody feeling good about Georgia?

Very seldom do I ever have a good feeling about Georgia, and this time is no different.
