Well, whether you are celebrating or "getting over a trainwreck" I still think exercise is a very appropriate and healthy thing to do that day.

I think of the day as a celebration. I'm just frustrated because I wanted the whole family to attend. We are from Michigan but moved last Summer to North Carolina. So we are only 4 hours away. I had never in the passed thought of going so I 'm not sure what goes on and where. My husband knows that I will be going in with the ticket and one of our kids. But then where does he go. Everyone says if you get tickets you have to go but you need a plan. THen I was told that you may need to drive to Washigton and pick the tickets up. But they aren't sure they want to send them. I say get the ducks in order and get back to me.

I will say that I did get a little ticked in my e-mail back because of not being able to get enough for our family. I'm still staying on the list. I guess what made me mad was that last summer we went to one of Obama;s rallys. WE got up at 4;30 am stood in line for 6 hours and then watched goverment officals and there families walk in and sit in chairs while being given bottled water while others standing passed out. I bet there are Governors, senate people who will take their whole families. Just wanteed to vent and see what others are being told in their state

Inaugration's have always been a big dog and pony show for the military. I wonder how liberals will take that because of their distate for the military?

It is my understanding that tickets need to be picked up in person. They will not mail them. You should double check to be sure, but I believe that's the policy.

I don't know why everyone thinks that liberals don't like the military. I am a widow of a Viet Nam Marine and the mother of a Sgt. Major in the Army. I sure do NOT have distaste for the military and yes, I am a liberal.
