I just heard on CNN as they read the note that the Bush girls left for the Obama girls. It was soo nice. They talked aboyt what to do for fun at the White House. But it was so sweet that they said people will think they know your Dad but remember that nobody knows how he felt the first time he saw you and your first day of school. Remember he is your Dad.

I read parts of it in an AP article, it was really cute.

I read it at the same place. I was appalled by the responses of the posters there, but I thought what the Bush girls wrote was very classy. I've often wondered what their take on everything's been.

Very sweet, but then the Bush girls know first hand what it is going to be like for the Obama girls. Every mistake and mistep will be there for everyone to see. It is going to be a fabulous adventure for them, but also a hard one. Like the Bush girls, I am glad that the Obama girls have each other to lean on as they experience this.
I always felt a little sad for Chelsea and Amy Carter that they both had to go out it alone.
