Following statements made to Politico yesterday telling Rush Limbaugh to "back off," Republican congressman Phil Gingrey now has his tail between his legs. In a groveling call to Limbaugh's conservative radio program this afternoon, Gingrey offered a humble apology and described Limbaugh as a "conservative giant" who plays an integral role in maintaining the ever-decreasing Republican base
Just wait when we get our appology from Obama in four years after you see what he does to my country.
if it does go down the way you laying it out that would be good he has the balls to do that , but yet president didnt apologize at all..silence!!!!!!!!!! hence he thought his terms were a success "we're winning the war"<----yeah right!!
Crest at least isn't making up things like other conservatives, hes merely pointing out that Obama has done everything right so far, and hes waiting for him to screw up. On the other hand, you have a Republican politician apologizing to a radio personality? I just think that can't possibly be accurate. Even for a Republican thats pretty low.

I think he spoke the other day forgetting who had put him into office, and what sort of platform he probably ran on.
And now look - the people he's sucking up to wont respect him for this, either. Bet he wishes he'd stood his ground.
U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey spent today apologizing to the loudest voices of the Republican right — to radio talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, and to former U.S. House speaker Newt Gingrich.
Gingrey’s crime? He declared that they earned a very good living by stirring up dust among conservatives, without having to struggle with the consequences.

There are Republicans who think Gingrey was right the first time. U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, fresh from re-election, was at the state Capitol on Wednesday. Chambliss took issue with Limbaugh, who last week said he wishes failure upon Obama.
“I’m not one of those in the Rush Limbaugh camp who wants to see him fail,” Chambliss told about 140 members of the National Federation of Independent Business. ” His failure will be your failure and his success will hopefully be your business success.”
Chambliss later added: “Whether you voted for President Obama or not, we all have to get behind him.”
