Ken

I wasn't really asking you and you didn't really answer, but thanks for the input I guess.

We need more days like this to turn the economy around. But hey, if one day's gain makes you sleep better at night, then go for it and knock yourself.

C'mon, Obama bashers! Since you think he's responsible for every bad day on the stock market, it's time to show up here and praise him a bit. Let's hear it....

Yeah, I wonder what they will say when the bottom IS reached and the market begins it's eventual climb back up.

That MIGHT be starting this week. I'm not about to make that prediction mind you - there are WAY too many variables to make that claim YET, but certainly this week has been VERY GOOD to the market - and (amongst the bad news this week) there have been some very encouraging signs as well - so who knows?

I have to say, that IF the market has turned around already, then a year or two from now, then all these claims that Obama is tanking the market are going to look pretty darned stupid (which of course they are). It would also likely meant that (rightly or wrongly) Obama will get the credit for turning the market around in such a short time.

I would bet Bernie Madoff going to jail had some factor in this.

I highly doubt it. Some of these people will blame him no matter what. Its just the way it is.

They'll just say that Bush set the stage, or something equally ridiculous.

I won't disagree with that. I wasn't referring to the Obamabashers, I was referring to the American people overall.

The Obamabashers wouldn't give Obama credit for ANYTHING even if God himself appeared before them personally and gave Obama credit.
