Obama Job Approval Slips to 58% for First Time

Very interesting I wonder why?

Quote:
The latest decline in Obama's approval score, to 58%, results from a drop in approval among political independents as well as among Republicans. Democrats remain as highly supportive of the president as ever.
Quote:
It is not clear what's behind the decline, but two issues have received considerable play in the news this week, and could be contributing factors. On Monday, the president received bad news on healthcare reform from the Congressional Budget Office, whose estimate of the cost of one reform plan caused sticker shock on Capitol Hill. This may be feeding into public concerns about the administration's deficit spending. At the same time, the disputed Iranian presidential election has been front-page news. Obama's cautious response has sparked sharp criticism from Republican Sen. John McCain and many on the political right who are eager for him to declare the election a "fraud," and to show more solidarity with the Iranian protestors.

Here you go again.

With total control of congress and all the money he is spending you would think Obama would be at 100%.

My thread on the gallup polls clearly shows Obama is in trouble, his party is in trouble and he is taking American down a path we cannot fix.

People are regretting every day they voted for him.

Maybe he will buy Gallup with the government money and cheat on the numbers.

Oh by the way, GW's numbers only went down AFTER liberals controlled congress.

How about that liberal controlled congress? Wow, 11% approval rating!
Going great!!

Exactly. Fortunately, many of Obama's horrendous policies (EFCA/Card check, cap and trade, Socialist Medicine) have not been passed and are not looking that good. He should be glad these policies have not passed as they will tank the Economy and his approval will go down in concert. Rasmussen has his net approval (strong approve - strong disapprove) just above 0; his popularity is slipping. His policies are anti-growth and anti-dollar, so his approval will continue to tank. He's also softer on terror than W.

You have to compare the same time period not when Bush was leaving office and Obama just starting lol

Let Obama get the same media Bush got and then lets talk about his approval rating?

I dont hear MSNBC giving daily body counts on the wars anymore why is that?

YOU WONT SEE THAT- OBAMA AND HIS BAND OF MEDIA THUGS NOW CONTROL THE MEDIA LIKE IRAN IS CURRENTLY DOING BY SHUTTING DOWN FREE SPEECH.

I dont hear MSNBC giving daily body counts on the wars anymore why is that?
They do not even talk about the wars anymore because their leader promised us he would have the troops out of Iraq and so far as usual for him he has lied.

They will not cover anything that Obama has lied or broken promises about no matter if it is important to us all or not.

So you notice they do not talk about it anymore also? Good for you. And you noticed that none of his followers yap all day about it either on this board also.
