Matthews and Maddow have both commented that MA has never elected a female Senator. The disconnect from reality is stunning.

Man, I was just going to post a thread titled, "Massachusetts is sexist!" as a joke.

Really, you shouldn't be surprised by their reaction. Whenever someone other than a white heterosexual male is elected, there are cries of sexism, racism, homophobia, etc.

Interesting that so many conservatives say they're watching MSNBC tonight, though.

Well, that's a liberal for you. When it comes right down to it, they seldom practice what they preach.

After the rhetoric has died down MA will have to live with their decision.

The Senate and America will suffer as well. The stonewalling from the Republican party and legislation that would benefit the nation will be drappled for the sake of crushing the Obama Presidency.

How quickly people forget the tragedy of the GWB years....oh well {shrugs}

Mass. has spoken and they don't want a Democrat.
It's the voice of the American people. Respect that each of us has a vote. They may not agree with you but they are free to vote and the voters in Mass. today are the next state in to shun Democrats.

Rather than blame the Repubs again..start asking some hard questions of your own Reps..why are the American voters turning against Democrats a mere one year into a Democratic majority rule ?

It can be either 1) Fix your own party or 2) Blame the other party
There's more elections coming up this year...

Lessee.......no race card to play so play the gender card. How unoriginal. Perhaps the Mass. Democrats could have actually put forward a competant femal candidate instead of that ditz Coakely? Perhaps the Democrats would offer policy that the people of Mass. would get behind and support? Nope, too late, so sad.

I caught the headline on Fox then turned over to MSNBC to watch the liberals squirm. All it needs now is a laugh track.

I guess you haven't been listening to the American people - they don't like the bills in congress....at all.

The American people KNOW they would not benefit from this massive boondoggle.
