Yep, Barack Obunglar had just recently taken a senatorial seat in Washington when he decided that he should be president, so maybe Brown should do the same. Surely Brown couldn't be any worse than the present guy in the WH, and probably a LOT better.
Brown is Pro-Choice, and he favors keeping the Massachusetts law regarding Gay-marriage in tact. He would NEVER win a GOP nomination for President with those views.....
Intriguing proposal, although if he remained a Republican, there's no evidence that he would be any more of a "change" than Barack Obama has been as a Democrat.
If he becomes an independent, then I'll be more interested.
The GOP would never let a pro woman (pro choice) candidate take place. EVER!
I think they are going to have to. It's not the most important thing we face and we need a leader that most people can get behind. It's not even an issue a President is likely to ever address. We have to stop fighting over things that aren't even up for discussion.

The Democrats control the House of Representatives because many pro-life Democrats ran in conservative districts. There are pro-life Democrats and pro-choice Republicans.

That did help the Dems gain the majority somewhat, but most of the Democrats who won in both 06 & 08 are pro-choice and were from Dem leaning districts. Only a handful of the pick ups in each were from pro-life Dems or conservative leaning districts.

You have no idea what you are talking about...Why do you think that? How many Republicans do you know that hold your feelings and do you realize many if not most Republicans are also social moderates. We have come a long way baby!!!!! by the way, pro choice and pro woman isn't the same thing by any stretch of the imagination.
