and that is why so many of us Obama supporters are not concerned about Palin. . . politically, she is a joke, and there may be plenty of folks who can be scared into voting for her, but there are a lot more with good sense who would never consider doing that.

Unlike myself, my wife is conservative and votes Republican. We live in Houston. She now absolutely refuses to vote for Perry due to his affiliation with Palin. Republicans, if you think there aren't tons of people in your party who believe Palin is political kryptonite, you are absolutely kidding yourselves.

Palin will not be on the ticket in 2012.

Tim Pawlenty will be, however.

Independents will tell her, "Stick it".

Marmac, I agree with you about Palin. I have said that all the way along...I don't know what all the hype is, she has a certain drraw, heck my husband is in love with her, but I don't think this love affair will continue. I will admit, it is the first time in our 50plus years of marriage we have totally disagreed on a candidate..I don't know what I would do if she did get the nomination..

Poll: Obama handily defeats Palin in 2012
That's shall I say, a NO BRAINER.
Palin couldn't whip a dog.
How do we explain the masses of the tea parties? simple, some people like her, but, she has to go a very, very long way to even think of becoming presidential material.

I think the democrats should fear newly elected Brown. He sort of puts Palin and tea baggers at a corporate arms length distance from himself, and wisely so. He'll only use them if he needs to, and right now, he doesn't need any gas to go.

Bring that witch on! Polls are deceiving at first. But when she puts her foot in her mouth over and over again in interviews and debates, the voters will see what a phoney she is. she would carry the southern states, but that's about it.

Palin is a great fundraiser and can rally the people.
However, her actually being on the Republican ticket would be a disaster.

Heck, many guys on right-wing radio ( Rush for instance) are great at rallying the people, but those types ( and Palin) would be a disaster if they ran for president.

(IMHO) Tim Pawlenty is slowly and quietly working his way up and giving speeches to various groups across the US.

I am not promoting Tim Pawlenty because I am a Minnesotan ( I didn't even vote for him as governor) but he will be a strong contender in 2012.

He is talented and can get his points across w/o all the drama of Sara Palin.

LOL! Yeah... right. One of my (well, my only) Republican neighbor told me in July of 2008 that he "guaranteed Obama wouldn't win the election". I told him only fools guaranteed things they have no control over lol! Are all Republicans like that?
