I love Chris Farley, David spade and Dave Chappelle in sketches.
Am I the only one who wonders how Dane Cook could have become a comic. The guy is so terrible it's not funny. Nothing he says is funny all of his dumb jokes are five minutes long. I never thought Wanda Sykes was funny either. She sounds like she is trying real hard to be funny, but is not.....She is ok in sketches though.
He may have been mentioned, but mine is Brian Regan. I have seen him 3 times and met him twice! He's awesome!

The other end of the spectrum is Sinbad. No bad language and so so very funny. He seemed to ad lib a lot and the results were again side splitting laughter. I would love to see Kathy Griffen. Her show cracks me up.
Steve Martin created a style that has been aped by thousands of comics. Yet not one of them gets the point, nor do they elicit laughter or thought in a manner on par with Mr. Martin.
Read Born Standing Up, his account of his life in stand-up, and you will further understand The Master.
