Daughter and family are permanently moving to the West Coast (Bay Area) Do not want to live there again so Eugene is close enough to drive in a day.

Looking for an executive rental 3bdr 2.5 baths 2800 sq ft. Anyone know someone who wants to rent for a year or so?

Any help appreciated including any contacts of RE people.

Eugene to the bay area is doable if you are a road warrior. I was working in the Bay Area for my employer last year and its about 8 hours from Eugene to Richmond CA (North East Bay) Oakland about another 1/2-hour depending on traffic. If work isnt a problem I might suggest further south (Medford/Ashland) as possible locations. Also Eugene has direct flights to SF.

Also I would caution that the southern Siskayous can have harsh weather Nov-March. Be flexible on your departures to account for weather.

I used to make it in a day, but it is not something you want to do for a weekend. There is a plane though.

No I am retired and will be living there only, no commute except to see the daughter.

Thought I'd responded Friday but apparently did not - very curious what your budget is.

2800 sqft 'executive' space isn't going to be cheap, in part because there's not a huge supply of such stock.
