Apparently I was the one who bumped it but I SWEAR it was up near the top of this forum when I commented. How else would I have found a thread from two years ago? Maybe the culprit realized how old the thread was and deleted his or her post...

I have read so many interesting facts about Slovak republic in this tread it's almost like I have lived in different country so far while reading some "experts" posts here.

Slovakia is so underdeveloped it has better infrastructure score than Czech republic
Infrastructure | Data

Bratislava is so underdeveloped it's 5th most strongest region in gdp per capita in the whole EU
Economy of the European Union - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Slovakia is so underdeveloped Slovaks have the same monthly income and the same (currently even higher) disposable income as/than Czechs.
Eurostat - Tables, Graphs and Maps Interface (TGM) table

Slovakia is so underdeveloped and poor I think I am going to jump on the first train to Prague and enjoy 30% lower salary I was offered than I have here in Slovakia 60km outside the Bratislava.
Good to know I have such a rich and developed heaven so close.

You will get used to it, people here love to mention how Slovakia is uninteresting and run down. The only cause I can think of are the movies like Hostel and Eurotrip. While you'd think nobody is so stupid as to take it seriously, someone who knows nothing about Slovakia can easily get the wrong idea.
