Why isnt the Swedish,Danish,and Dutch monarchy as visible as the British monarchy? (best, UK)

My question is why people keep bringing up the Monarchy in relation to everything concerning Britain. Lots of people call for the British monarchy to be done away with, and the hatred of these people towards the royal family is amazing. Yet the very same people have no problems with monarchies in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium?
In Spain the most visible are British royal family (I still don't understand the fascination with this royal family), the Swedish (because of the beauty of the princess and because princess Birgitta is living in Spain) and the Grimaldi.
I think our king and queen are also good friends with Juan Carlos and Sofia.
They're very visible in Europe. The European press covers their activities in a similar way in which our press covers the activities of Hollywood's elite. But European countries are more sensible fiscally, so they don't spend as much money on their royalty. Some of the European royals make a point of living more modestly. And some are more visible than others. Norway's King Olaf visited the US a few times. I met him one one of those occasions; he made himself accessible to the public. Americans tend to only hear about the royals that relate to America, like the Brits and the Grimaldis of Monaco, (Princess Grace's daughters). Americans should bear in mind that the the US tends to be a very insular place. The public is much more interested in Jennifer Anniston, Beyonce, Brad Pitt, etc., than in European royals whose names they don't even know.

The Brits who are against the British monarchy don't have to pay to support monarchs of other countries, so they're not concerned about it. Sort of obvious, isn't it?
