It's an optical illusion. The whites of the eyes appear with greater contrast against a darker-skinned face, so give the appearance of being larger.

Found an interesting homepage, which supports my opinion that your observations are kind of wrong.

Average Spaniard:

Average Greek:

Average Russian:

Average Finn:

In my opinion hardly any differences.

Ive had a look at this site and I have to say that the 'average' English and 'average' French seem to be too caucasion to be a true representation of all English and French people???

They are making morphs of ethnic english and ethnic french people, as you see they both look alike.

I dont really think there is an 'ethnic' English person to be honest with you, the fact of the matter is English people are not any sing 'ethnic' type - my daughters are different to me 'ethnically' but we are all English.

I meant people who are fully english heritage from at least 3 generations back. Maybe some people with some Irish in between would still be considered nearly fully english since Irish are more akin to Brits/English than lets say nigerians or pakistani.

The main difference imo, is that slavics (and you can trow finns in the equation too) have rounder/broader faces than the rest of europeans, specially compared to mediterranean peoples

I do understand what you are saying Don_Caballero, but I would just like to point out I consider my daughters to be 'fully English' just like their mother and their grandmother and granmothers mother father, and grandmother and grandfather etc who were all born in England
