Sorry owenc, but in my first post I mentioned that Cheboksary is a port on the Volga River. The Volga is unanimously defined as the longest river in Europe. While part of Russia is indeed considered part of Asia, this part of Russia is definitely considered to be "in" Europe. Consider yourself schooled.
