I like the sucker. A very deadly, effective standoff weapon that undoubtedly dirt cheap. It's got to be all but unstoppable. I'm trying to get good pics of the missile but they aren't out there yet. I bet it's a ram jet.
I found this:

Interesting. I bet it's a ramjet, has to be. I think I can see 2 inlets just forward of the planes wheel, a dark patch high and low on the body of the missile. Air inlets? Maybe the MIG-31 goes up high and then with full throttle gets up to max speed. The Foxhound can do 1800 mph and in a dive probably more. I bet the missile is launched from the MIG at speeds high enough for the ram jet to kick in.

This gate is now a major intersection where about 6 streets come together. On the other side of the wall down the street about 4 blocks is one of the best pizza places I have ever eaten at. It's on a boad sidewalk and you can sit outside in May and eat pizza and drink beer. No traffic, the street is part of a park and the trees are old and beautiful.

That picture was colorized... you know they didn't have color cameras back then right? It probably had a green roof

These old color photos are cool, the quality is often very good. Good to know that dandelions of 100+ years ago looked same as they look now...
