I don't like the fact that the same people can stay in office for such long periods of time. It's like US congressmen and senators. Some are there for life and they're corrupt as hell. I'm sure Russia is the same way as are most other systems in the world.

Ahh.. THAT.
same old, same old...
From DOMESTIC point of view him and his gang are bad news for Russia of course, but from INTERNATIONAL perspective, let him sit where he is.
Him taking care of the interests of his class of the "New Russians" assures the military/strategic strength of Russia, which has been of paramount importance lately. ( I am sure there are others there working along with him on that, but the main point remains.)

Do not be distracted by this nonsense. Biden will become president with the support of Russia!

I have NO idea what's coming here at this point, honestly speaking.

I don't understand the full severity of this Coronavirus thing - how much it's going to affect economy, how serious it is in terms of healthcare burden/loss of life and so on.

Because a lot of it will determine the outcome of the upcoming elections ( if they will even take place, because I see now more and more public events are cancelled for obvious reasons. What an odd timing for this outbreak.)

When it comes to Biden - they keep on prompting the vegetable; who is behind that vegetable - god knows.

I was looking forward to hear more from Sanders, him being drilled more on practical issues like, say immigration, but this is going nowhere as far as I can see.

So I am still left with a question - the kind of "Socialist model" he is offering for America - how it's exactly going to work, with America being "traditional country for immigration."
I mean what happens with the sign "Give me your tired, your poor" ( that's VS traditional Russian "Don't give me anything, I'll go and pick and choose myself what I want.")

So what's going to happen to that window sign - is it going to be "Give me your energetic and loaded with money" now ( in order for Sanders plan to work) or is it going to be removed all together?

Have no idea how this would play out for the US, VS say, Sweden or Norway to which some like to point at.

So the Dems keep on prompting Biden the Vegetable instead, lining up behind the slogan "Мы за всё хорошее"- I can't find a better description for that. Like seriously.

And Trump being Trump - who knows what will happen to his candidacy after all is said and done with this virus.

(And yes, of course Russia is behind all that as usual.)

So I guess we'll just have to wait and see what's developing at this point.

Why would Putin and Co be interested in a SOCIALIST out of all people?

The way they barely mentioned him in their news couple of times, was almost like he is some crazy marginal, not worthy attention.

The way "Kremlin Inc" operates, the last thing it wants is to attract any attention of the general Russian population to this kind of people in American government.
This way Russians will keep on believing for long time to come that there is NO DIFFERENCE between Dem. Party and Republican party in the US, therefore one-party system in Russia is a normal, acceptable thing.
I find that this latest attempt of Putin and Co to "change the cabinet" and to pretend to be a "social state" shortly before Sanders showed up with his public message on the horizon, a rather odd event.
I mean it's yet again a strange timing.

But going back to Sanders - he thinks that these news ( that Russians support him) were designed to hurt his campaign.
And I suspect he is right.

You must improve the quality of your propaganda.

The United States has a Gini coefficient of 0.485.
The Russia has a Gini coefficient of 0.412.

An interesting map of the distribution of the main foci of coronavirus. It seems it like a certain latitude (maybe in this time of year). Or it is just a coincidence.
Just wanted to point out the main foci of of coronavirus in the US is in Seattle which is considerably further north than New York City.

Some Democrats (and specifically Biden) destroyed normal relations between United States and Russia. They used negative image of Russia in the fight against Trump. Why can't they do this with Sanders? Of course he is right. I hope Biden spends all money that his family has earned in Ukraine on the election campaign and loses.

Oh look who is talking - an AMERICAN)))

How could I miss this gem of yours DKM ( apparently I am not paying attention at your posts lately, do I?)

Americans practically INVENTED this system in Russia.

American DEMOCRATS to be specific; the *dog-faced lying pony soldiers,* if you know the drill)))

Oh, I think money doesn’t play much for Putin at the moment. He has power and influence. Money cannot give it in such quantity.

Oh they destroyed it much earlier than that, before Trump was even in the picture ( it all goes back to Clinton and the rest of so-called "neoliberals",) but I'd rather drop this subject at this point, since it has got nothing to do with Sanders.

Because they recognize that he's an airhead. Airheads are convenient, because they can be easy to manipulate or fool (some people may think).
