I am looking at
this article Maxim left - here comes this muddying of the waters yet again;
"Putin's rise through the chaos of the the post-Soviet period left him convinced that Western-Style Capitalism, unrestrained a centralized controlling authority, was incompatible with Russian greatness."
Bwa-ha-ha)))
What "Western-style capitalism?"
There are quite a few versions of it out there.
There is "capitalism" and there is "capitalism."
The kind that they have in Sweden ( which post-Soviet Russians would love to have,) and the kind that they have in the US.
Guess which version the American Corporate Democrats sold to Russians, (with Putin and Co happily purchasing it, pretending that it's the one and only viable option) ?
As I've said, it takes two to tango.
But now of course the "fine line," the difference between that "European style capitalism" and American-style capitalism is popping on the surface in the US, the more the election time is nearing.
And I think Sanders is right when he thinks
that the "leak" of "intelligence officials" about the "Russian bots infiltrating Sanders online army to help him,"
was actually designed to hurt him.
And judging by what I hear in official Russian media, the way they mention Sanders as if he is some "loonie socialist marginal" not worthy attention, is VERY TELLING.
They don't want Russians to know the truth, the way they have been duped thirty years ago.
But East Ukrainian bloggers are far more open and knowledgeable about who he is.
And so are the Russian intellectuals.
Those people can't be fooled that easily.
As for the rest - as I've already said to WaldoKitty on Politics forum - call the exorcists.
Otherwise Trump is going to stick around for the next four years.
