I didn't mean any insult by my comparison. Back in the bad old days when I was hunkered down in Baghdad with soldiers from all over the world the Georgians were a favorite. They were well liked far and wide by just about everyone because they were so genial.
I wonder whether Tuta Rchela has ever been to Spain or Italy to say that no, "Georgians are not like other nations..."
Because - yes, there are certain similarities with the Meds.

What a vid, what a doc on the great Fleece myth. Thanks. Prof Wood , the Brit historian, does a great overview of the story and linking it up with Colchis itself. He did another like this and it was about Alexander. Both are a great look at some great ancient history in that area.
In studying Georgia recently, I couldn't help seeing discussion on the various people who have inhabited the area and their ethnicities. I would imagine that the ancient background figures heavily in their identities. Sure looks like they haven't forgot about the Fleece. Fresh as yesterday as they drank, danced and partied. Georgians look like they know how to live!...;-)...
Georgians - amazing nation...Georgians are very few in the world, but these people have created so many great and brilliant things not only in Georgia!
