The US definitely is a culprit of the instability of the Middle East in the past decade. There is no way to deny that. Why can't they just get the hell of there already? Only a complete fool would think the US is some benign nation trying to bring peace and prosperity to the M.E., or anywhere in the world.
the issue is being broadened out deliberately with endless whataboutery about what britain or france did ninety years ago , the thread is about the european refuge crisis , i wish we could specifically focus on that

if we do , it can be seen that the usa is entirely to blame for what gave rise to this refuge crisis which could completely engulf europe

In the meanwhile IS takes advantage of the situation. These criminals will enter anywhere there is a void. I don`t believe the people of Syria picked IS over al-Assad. They don`t want either - but with the help of Russia they got both.

I don`t know if American lives are affected. Probably not. But mine is. I am a tax payer in a European country which borders are being flooded.

You are so whacked in your view of the US and it`s involvement - that you can`t see straight. Maybe if the US did get involved in Syria more - they would have fixed it. I hope the US stays away.

But now the whole scene is left to the Russians, clueless European politicians, al-Assad and IS. That sure is a recipe for pure hell.
the syrian people did not want rid of assad , ISIS do because they want a sunni islamic super state and the assad regime are shiite , israel also want rid of assad as he sponsors hezbollah , hence why the usa threw there weight behind a campaign to oust him , they also are using the syrian issue as a way to get at russia who have strategic interests in syria

covertly , the usa is siding with ISIS in syria , or at least were until they realised they could not control the monster they helped create

Yeah most ppl dont know who the teams in the Mid East are.

Shia:
Iran, Syria, Iraq, Hezbollah, Yemen, Russia

Against: USA, Israel, Sunni
Why? USA supported the Shaw in the late 70's and Israel.

Sunni:
Everyone else, ISIS, Al Queda, Taliban, Hamas, Chechyn Rebels

Against: USA, Israel, Shia, Western Civilization
Why? US bases in SA, Support of Israel, and some extremest want to reclaim lost lands in Europe from the days of the Turks.

Germany is committing mass cultural suicide. Your native population is shrinking with every year and your response is to let in almost a million Sunni Muslims. A group who typically have lots and lots of children and whose cultural is fundamentally at odd with yours. How stupid can one nation be.

again that is widening the whole ME debate

i wish we could focus on the refuge crisis which stems from the syrian civil war and the invasion of iraq before that , iraqis fled into syria in millions after the fall of sadamn and the destabalisation of that country

the usa is entirely responsible for this mess and should be the ones who entirely deal with it , them and israel

Not quite sure about your reaction; one should not roll the eyes, since Americans supported the mujaheddin in Afghanistan before, "freedom fighters" in Chechnia later, and the latest - those "democratic people of Syria."
We know by now who they all turned out to be, don't we?
It's just now, taking in consideration previous experience, Americans rushed to disengage from such "allies" in Syria faster than before.

Why can't European nations join together to fight ISIS?
