I'm look at places where I can work remotely and it seems like Prague would be a good city as it is affordable compared to western europe and the population seems educated. Could I survive there just knowing english?
I think it depends on your profession, the more skilled the more likely you'll find a job in an international company. Czech Republic performs well and is in need of skilled people as far as I know. However the country is not that cheap and wages are lower than e.g. in Germany or Austria.
Prague is popular with tourists and said to have a large American community, I guess it's not the worst choice.
Based on your posting history you are looking all over the world to find a city where you could move in.
Not much luck over the last four years? Maybe your requirements are hard to meet?
There's a ton of foreigners living in Prague who can't speak any Czech at all.
