I personally love Copenhagen, I would choose that. I haven't been to the other three (I have been to Malmo Sweden from Copenhagen and to Norway, and overnighted in Helsinki) and I would choose Stockholm out of those three.
In past when was still able to travel. Went several times to Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger in NO. Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense and Aalborg in DNK. Stockholm, less was Gothenburg 2x Malmo 2x in SE. Two summers ago DD and her dad went once to Helsinki.
A split first choice is Oslo and Copenhagen.
And from any city once there is nice to take a bus or train to outside of city and return, you will see a lot more.
Copenhagen. The Old Town is intact, no high rises, lots of outdoor restaurants, the new subway is everywhere, everybody understands English (and pretend to be able to speak it), and they generally like tourists. Be polite, and speak English slowly, and you'll get stellar treatment. Especially in summer you get a Nordic laid-back vibe in Copenhagen. People are more reserved in Stockholm, although I do love that the city is on the water, where the river Maeleren (sp?) meets the Baltic Sea.
But please don't call it Copenhaagen to a Copenhagener's face. It's Copenhaygen.
