You can find information on the website for the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education (Högskoleverket). Go to Foreign Degrees - Swedish National Agency for Higher Education [NS4 version] (broken link)
As you want to study further in Sweden you should contact a university directly.
You haven't written where in Sweden you live or would like to study. Karolinska Institutet (KI) is a renowned medical university in Solna, Stockholm. You can find contact details on their website at Startpage - ki.se
You also need to learn Swedish if you would like to study and work in the country.

Well , I thought more of the natives would have answered you by now. But I guess not. Generally Sweden won't recognize a degree from any country, but perhaps if it was some country close by like Germany, Dänemark, etc. Usually they make you go to school and get yourself versed in their standard of the degree. I know it's that way with engineering anyway.
But what have you found out so far here on your own ? What did you find out info-wise before you came here ? I know of many Swedes who don't go to the dentist here because it's too expensive. They go to Poland where dentistry appears to have a good reputation and it's cheaper, even though they have to fly there. I don't imagine they have private practices here, but again I could be wrong.
Well , maybe since I answered you, others will jump in and let know the true scoop on what goes on here.

Hi!
You say outside the EU- what country to be exact? Is it still in Europe or outside? There might be a difference between European diplomas and non-European diplomas, though I'm not quite sure.
Start studying medicine shouldn't be too hard, depending on what your grades are and what you score on Högskoleprovet (Swedish equivalence to the SAT, if you know what that is?). Getting in is the hardest part- you practically need 20,0 grades (full pott, meaning all MVG -or A's) or a 2,0 on Högskoleprovet (meaning full pott, all answers correct). Many Swedes who want to study medicine therefore goes to other countries, such as Poland or Hungary (I have a close friend of the family who is going to start studying medicine in Warsaw this fall. You have to buy your place, but it's easier to get in there than in Sweden). The degree obtained in Poland or Hungary (for example) are accepted in Sweden, so people return to Sweden to do their AT and ST periods here. Many of the doctors and medicine-students that visited my school/class (I read science, so they assumed many of us wanted to become doctors etc.) actually say that doctors who studied in Poland or Hungary instead of Sweden actually become better doctors. More humble.
So if ou can't get in in Sweden, then there's always an option to go abroad.
I don't know much about how to apply to a Swedish university with foreign grades, but Internat provided good links
There was a girl from Alaska and one from Portugal some months ago asking pretty much what you are asking. I asked a doctor-friend of mine about it, but I can't seem to find the emails right now. I'll come back when I find them.
This is where you do the electronical application (this spring we could only apply through this website, though usually you can also go to a university and fill in the paperworks there. Or take them home, fill them in and then mail them to the university.)
There is an English version.
thank you every body for your help..especially for you sweden ...
i know it wont be easy for me to begin again..because all my studies were in french
so i have to learn english and swedish languages but no problem i like sweden
