that's extremely thin... I am around 5'9 and weigh 168 lbs and am skinny.

It totally depends on the build. Gold Medalist boxing champion Andre Ward is 6' 1" and 168 pounds. Does he look skinny on this picture:


I am 6' 1" tall myself and for the longest time was hovering around the 170 pound mark. I had very low body fat percentage and was quite muscular. Today, I am 180 pounds and in even better shape. For us men, it really depends on the muscle to body fat ratio that will determine if we are too skinny or not. Andre Ward is FAR from being "extremely thin" at that weight.

That's true, but in most cases i would venture to say that 6'1, 160 is pretty dam skinny

BUT Ward is listed almost ten pounds heavier than 160. he doesn't look lanky and i hit 6'1.5 in the mornings

Depends on your build really, but your BMI would still be in the normal range.
