I have a question for the ladies. Recently I have seriously increased the intensity of my daily work out. I am top heavy, so I am having a problem finding a sports bra that supports and holds me in place. I have taken to wearing 2 bras, but surely there is a better way. Do any of u gals have any ideas? Should I look for a certain type or brand name? I would appreciate any suggestions.

I run and I can't do the sports bras. Most of them are just boob smashers. They don't seem to give any real support. The best bras I've found for running are the Bali front close with the T back. Get a fitting and get the for real right size. I used to hate bras and thought they were so uncomfortable till I started buying them in the right size. Duh!

Thank u for the information. I am familar with bali bras, but I didn't know they had anything to offer for active wear. I am willing to try anything at this point. I cannot stand bouncing all over the place. I am glad to hear it is not only me who does not get enough support from sports bras. I am so desperate I thought about breast reduction, but after checking into it the pain of recovery is too much. I would rather keep my big knockers and find the right bra or bras. Again thank u for your input

I order a lot of work out items from Athleta, they have a great selection of work out gear and sports bras (even in the larger sizes). Athleta makes top quality items. The best thing are their bra tops, camis & halters w/ full built in bras w/ underwire cups and adjustable straps. I live in them during the summers here in AZ.
