Thats the way it looks to me. Benching and various types of curls dominate their efforts.

Women hardly use the weights at all. I see a female using weights about once/week at the gym that I use. I try to go at the slowest times.

What is up with the male obsession with their biceps?

Its what I call the "criminal and jailhouse look". Guys who either ONLY or primarily do just bench pressing and curls are usually your criminal/gang bangy/low life types. They are the only ones I ever see doing this.

whats your obsession with machine shoulder presses.

really, i think the complaining about guys who only work on biceps and chest is more common than there are guys that do that. you seem like a guy who has recently upped his exercise amount and are jumping on every silly complaint/issue that you can think of.

dont worry about what other people do.

I have no obsession with the shoulder press and do not work that area significantly harder than any other area. Its just an area where my progress has been more encouraging than other areas. So I talk about it on the internet.

The internet? Well thats a world where the bros dead lift 700 when they are not lifting their 9" penis or re-arranging their fleet of exotic sports cars. On bad weather days, they exercise their IQ of 160.

Making fun of the internet persona?

Guilty

I have a certain amount of contempt for the "personalities thrust forward" on the internet. Where almost everyone is virtuous, brilliant, well to do, without fault, and devastatingly attractive. Its a land of make believe.

But it is more educational than TV. And some of the personalities here are real. I trust that LaoTzu is presenting the real deal here.

Yet...they somehow fail when it comes to reading comprehension.

throwing out every cliche in the book because all the sudden you are doing it and you are one of those that (according to you) do it right.

At my gym there are just as many women as men lifting weights, and just as many men doing lower body as upper!

Personally, I spend double the time on weights as cardio, if not more, today I (female) spent 50 min doing abs, chest, biceps and triceps and no cardio, but usually I do about 20-30 min cardio/HIIT. Maybe its your gym idk?
