Just curious to see if anyone has had experience with these...let me know what you like/don't like about them.

@Houston - I've got a pair of the cross trainers. Like = awesome styling (blue and white), wide width, light weight. With the minimalist sole, you get real nice and close down to the floor and can drive through your heels when you lift.

Don't like: super flat sole / no arch support. I know they're meant to be like this, but I have high arches and I really like some support. Also don't really like how rounded the toebox is on the outside... it cramps the little piggy that had roast beef and the little piggy that had none.

Overall my fave pair for the gym.

my wife has a pair and she really likes them overall, but she says they are very uncomfortable to run in.

I don't have them but I am thinking about getting a pair of the new NB MR00 which are similar. I do a few miles of barefoot treadmill running each weak to try to keep my feet strong, and I want to get something like this so I can do it outside as well.

It's pretty close to barefoot running, like the Vibram five fingers. If you're not used to it, you have to build up very slowly or risk injury. The NB minimus was designed with input from ultra-runner Anton Krupichka, who is a great runner but has suffered like a dozen stress fractures in his feet, so proceed w/ caution.

Boyfriend just got them a week ago and LOVES them so far (ran about five miles in them on his first outing). He hated Vibram Five Fingers, but finds the comparatively low weight but more traditional structure of these to be much more preferable.

I could not wear them...as a plantar faciitis sufferer and one who has an oversupinating stride, I need a lot more padding and shock absorption from my shoes' soles, as I do not naturally have much shock absorption due to my stride. My running shoes have to be highly cushioned, so these won't work. Too bad, they seem delightfully light.

My favorite minimalist shoe so far. The downside is that they do not last that long. (If you are hard on them.)
