I know it's not healthy but it needs to be done if it can be done. Any suggestions besides doing 2 a days? I am consuming a shake for breakfast and eating a good lunch and a shake for dinner by 8 PM. Work out before bed and workout when I wake up.

what's a good lunch? ultimately, the key is to consume as few calories as you can handle. as far as exercise, you should just jump on a cardio machine and go as fast as you can for as long as you can. if you aren't moving fast, you aren't going to meet your goal.

No, you cannot lose 2 pounds a day. Here is a better question…Why do you need to lose 2 lbs a day?
You did not gain 2 lbs a day so what makes you think you can lose it that way?
Just eat healthy and burn more calories than you consume. It takes TIME to lose weight if you want it to stay off.

you can lose 2 pounds a day. sure, much of it will be water and not fat, but you didn't say it had to be fat. a super fat person could probably lose way more than 2 pounds a day. make sure that you don't consume anything with salt in it.

It is possible to lose 1-2 pounds per day when water fasting. No food. Period. But it is not worth it. You lose fat less efficiently. Lose water and muscle. Feel like total poo. And add significant short term health risks. And it takes longer than 8 days to achieve the 1-2 lb a day weight loss rate.

You can lose about a pound a day juicing - nothing but straight, fresh juice at a ratio of 30 percent fruit and 70 percent veggies. I wouldn't recommend it for a long period of time but for a week or so it would probably be OK. Ask your doctor though - not strangers on a forum. All fast weight loss carries risks.

Huh. Your information is different than what I have read. I was under the impression that the calories and insulin response of the sugar in the juice caused a lower rate of weight loss than straight water fasting. And that the first couple of days did not generally yield any benefit at all in both cases.

But seeing as I have never done either, I can clearly not be considered an expert on this matter!

This isn't for long term weight loss. I just need to flatten up in 8 days and get my muscles flexing a little bit. I juiced for 8 days and lost 17 pounds before. That was with no exercise, and I wasn't trying to lose weight when I did. If I do 2 a days for 8 days thats 16 workouts which is 3-4 weeks worth of workouts. Combine that with cutting back calories while only consuming healthy shakes and 1 solid meal a day I think I might be able to pull it off.

I have a pool day club audition in 9 days. I have to wear swim wear so basically board shorts and nikes nothing else.

So far today I woke up at 615 AM and weighed 218. After using the bathroom, working out and drinking a shake Im down to 216 right now. Im about to go hiking for a couple hours. Eat lunch and rest then workout again later tonight after my dinner shake.

For lunch I am only going to be eating chicken or fish and a salad.

I am 6-3 with a wide shoulders and a large frame. I was got myself back down to 207 back at the end of Nov and then the holidays and laziness hit me hard. I jumped back up to 220 in 2 months lol. So again this isn't for a healthy steady weight loss. Lots of money is on the line here so any advice would help. I should have started this a week ago.

Well, I won't speak to this specific issue. But I would suggest getting a calendar for next time so that you can give yourself a reminder a few weeks in advance.

If you are measuring your weight in units of times measured in hours, you are measuring inconsequential things like water loss and gain having no bearing on your body's composition or what it is going to look like in 9 days.

If this is just for the audition I would recommend what they do in muscle competitions. Dehydrate yourself. Not smart and dangerous, but you will appear leaner and if you have muscles to show off this will enhance them.
