Do you really think you have to dig ditches to get in shape? Working 8 hours a day means you can lift (heavy) weight for at least 60 min. 5 days a week and do intense interval training for at least 30 min. a day. Start off with that and THEN see if you want to do more. Don't make excuses that because you can't be in the gym 6 hours a day it's not worth doing anything!
