Do you have a favorite time of day or night to work out?
AM, Noon, or PM?

Or, do you choose random times?

When I was going to the gym to work out, I'd always preferred to start at 6 am. I'd stay for about an hour then head home to take a shower and get dressed for work. I'd feel so energized and motivated for the entire day.

Working out at home, I do it around 8 pm. It's a big psychological difference from an early morning workout. I don't get the same energy boost. I do sleep well (but I slept well with early morning workouts too) but other than that, it just doesn't do it for me like the early AM workouts.

If I had it my way I'd be able to be at the gym at 9:00 AM instead of 5:30 AM, as I am not a morning person. But I do feel better if I work out in the morning.

Florida - if you're running outdoors, you've got to get out early.

I have a lot of energy 7-11 a.m. and do my workouts inside or out during the morning hours. I feel like I've accomplished something and can be a slug the rest of the day if I want.

I prefer to sleep at 6AM if I have the option.

I definitely agree with getting it done and having the rest of the day to do other things.

Weekdays, I go to work, weekends, I do chores or go out to buy groceries or have fun, so when I'm home and settled and got all my stuff done is around the 8 PM - 9 PM hour.

I workout usually between 6:15 and 7:45am (3x week gym, 2x week home gym basement), then go to work from 8 to 4:30 pm. At work I speed walk outside during my 2 fifteen minute breaks if the weather isn't too bad. My coworker in crime and I have been known to walk outside in blizzard conditions lol, as we are die hards. 2x week i take a ballet class from 6-8pm. Sundays I workout at gym from 9am to 10:30am (they open at 9 on Sunday).

I prefer mornings as I am fresh and have more energy, haven't eaten much so I don't feel full or sluggish, and I feel more limber. After a desk job all day (hence walking on breaks) sitting or standing in place, I am much stiffer and my brain is tired so less energy. I wish they'd have ballet classes in early mornings lol.

I love working out so it's not a matter of getting it over with for me. If I didn't have to work a full time job I would spend way more time working out or hiking etc. Just twenty more years before retirement....
