I live(d) in mpls and visiting Fargo for one night. I am only spending time in the south of fargo but from what I am seeing, this place is nice. Very clean, organized place. Also the people extremely kind thoughtful and polite. Nice breath of fresh air. I would be happy living here. Is SD also like this? Also, what about Bismarck? Really enjoyed Fargo.

SD is similar, but with mild winters. I live in Minnesota, but right on the SD border. Both Dakotas are great places to live -- if you don't mind a FRIGID winter and blowing snow.

What you say about Fargo (nice, clean, organized, polite people) is also true of Bismarck.
