They are more strawberry (I was a blond as a child but now brunette) Hubby was a much darker orange when was young. He is turning blond/white at his older age. I have more freckles than DH. So far nothing really on the kids. Both have big blue eyes.

MY 2 yr old girl is EXTREMELY SASSY and a bit of a entertainer. Both kids have fairly QUICK tempers-like turning on/off a faucet OUT OF NOWHERE!

I love the red hair (sadly no curls) but sometimes the attention and whispers/comments get OLD! Elementary school boys make comments at restaurants, old men at Walmart, ladies at conventions...pretty much if we leave the house we hear at least 1 comment.

I also have another friend that she's a red headed. She's sweet (too) but I would say she's a little bit more tougher than my other gal. And yes, both of them do have a lot of freckles and I think they're cute~
Would either of your lovely, very sweet female friends happen to be single, by any chance, and looking for a nice guy? lol...sorry, couldn't resist at least inquiring!

Seriously though, the sweetest, most kind and caring girls always make the very best long-term romantic partners, IMHO...the kind of gal a guy would dream of wanting to spend the rest of his life with

I'm really sorry to hear about the mean teasing you faced there...IMO, freckles on a girl can actually be very cute sometimes!

I'm attracted to redhead men. My husband is a redhead and so was my boyfriend in high (3 year relationship). And one of my male friends is a redhead. I think they are awesome.

LOL. I agree.

I'm sorry but mermaid gal is getting married next week Saturday to her lovely and awesome military fiancé (my friend ). The other gal is single, but she's very into her career at this moment. She just graduated this past spring.

Congrats to both ladies; that's wonderful to hear! Ms. Mermaid's fiance sounds like a very blessed guy indeed to have won her heart and her love, and I hope they have an amazing wedding next week. Also congratulations & all the best to the other nice gal as she pursues her career!

Thanks! I'll let them know that. Mermaid's family (and extended family) are known to be red-headed families. It's cute to see small kids with orange-red hair and babies with orange hair.

For myself: I personally consider red hair (any natural color variation, especially flame red), to be the loveliest of colors on a girl. Ditto on the alabaster, beautiful skin most redheads tend to have. I *love* the hair color/complexion of red-headed girls, and find it to be exceedingly unique, beautiful, and rare. Of course, it may be the Scottish heritage in me speaking here in terms of being a fan, lol

I think red hair on women is beautiful
I once seen this lady in the grocery store she had long curly red hair and her little girl looked exactly like her
Im telling you they were so beautiful I wish I could've taken their picture and shown the whole world
Red heads look good in green
Im talking natural red heads

My hair is dyed a darker auburn (natural hair is medium brown), and I've been complimented on it. Natural color is so middle of the road I don't think I'd ever be complimented on it, it's just not something to notice. Even so I'll probably let it go back to the natural color eventually, the dying process gets old.
