We must be in the same size neighborhood.

I splurge on bras too. And anything I need for an "occasion" when nothing I own will do and I have to have it now!

I've also spurged on a few key pieces for work, the basics, when they flatter me. Mostly I buy inexpensive things in multiples and buy the same things year after year...like a daily uniform in various colors. I'm simple.

Splurge on quality underwear and accessories like handbags, shoes, belts.
Bargain on most clothing.

I think more women are in our neighborhood than would like to admit it. I'm a big advocate for proper bra sizing (Measure directly under bust->band size. Measure fullest part of bust and subtract band size->every inch difference is a letter) but most women don't want to hear that they're really a 34F, not a 40C.

We wouldn't have to spend so much on specialty sizes if more women would find their true size and demand it from manufacturers. That's how the 28 band came to be and I sure am glad.

I know! I have a friend who *swears* she is a C cup. Even when the bra is too small. She picks a different bra. Because she doesn't want to be a D. :P

It seems to me you'd rather be smaller in the band and bigger in the cup. But you know, people are confused.

I tend to splurge on styles that are not produced in a cheaper form. This includes mainly dress shirts, vested suits, and certain types of shoes.

Such a weird mentality because I'd rather state a smaller back size & larger cup size than vice-versa.

Back to the OP's question: I guess I would have to say denim, handbags and shoes are my splurges.

The only "splurge" I indulge in is boots. I love a good pair of boots
