On women.

Am I the only one noticing this or could it be regional? I'm in Houston and for the past few months I've noticed a surge in wrist watches coming back.

For the longest time I haven't seen people especially women wearing watching and now all of a sudden watches are everywhere. And not cute little watches but IMO men's style big watches and of all colors...white

I noticed just cell phones used but now I can't help but notice a stark white IMO big watch on women's wrists. I still don't wear a watch anymore. My battery went out and I just said eh I have my phone.

When I did notice watches I primarily saw what I still see as women's style watches. The slimmer look like this. Square/rectangle and round.

Could be a regional thing. I don't know but I do know on a daily basis I see that big white watch on 20 wrist in a few hours.

I just see the first as a mens watch because that's the style I associate on men. It's kind of big and one men will flick their wrist to turn it so they can tell time. And those little mini clocks inside it always seemed pointless for me and I assumed most women because women rarely have watches with them. Basic analog close and a cute metal that could look like a nice bracelet and I'm solid. Now I see White Out looking watches on women everywhere it's like it's a new rule and I'm breaking it by not following, lol.

They were never "out" of fashion as far as I know.

I have worn a wristwatch since I got my first one at the age of 5 and I have 51 years old so for me they were never out of fashion. I've had the same one for about 10 years now and it replaced the last one I wore for 15 years before it finally gave out.

The only people that don't wear a watch are the brain dead jerks that carry their phone in their hand at all times thinking that they're important and might actually miss an unimportant call from another fool.

Or most normal people who carry a phone in a pocket or purse. I haven't worn a watch for years as I'm usually somewhere there's a clock or I've got my phone handy.

I never knew they ever faded away, I always wear mine, except at work, we're not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind.

When I started working for myself I put the time piece away.... but I can say there's tons of ads for watches in the all the magazines. So yeah -- I think there's a trend here.
