I wonder why every woman over 25 I see at a bar or club has ridiculous amounts of make-up on. If there is 1 thing I cannot stand it is a young female who is wearing so much make-up that you could peel if off her face . I would prefer to meet a woman who looks naturally beautiful. Are women of the developed world obsessed with cosmetics? ??

The wiser I get- the older I get the more I see- the clearer I see...when it comes to woman- I am astounded how beautiful they are- every last one of YOU- You women out there have been brow beaten into thinking that you are not beautiful...let me tell you - ever time I see on go by - young or old...strikingly beautiful and pretty...sweet an alluring Plain Janes...when they pass I say to myself- "God you sure out did yourself when you created the female form....Just on thing for the young woman out there- YOUTH is beauty - use it- appreciate it and do not put yourself down...as you age...spirit takes over- If you have a beautiful soul you will shine....I am going to yell this out.
I LOVE WOMAN - THE ARE THE MOST WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL THING ON THE PLANET...NO FLOWER NO SUNSET WILL COMPARE TO THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN.....I really mean that and I have seen a lot.....YOU are beautiful...the valuable thing in the world to a good man is a WOMAN....

The smokey eye is still trendy, and it's a night-time look, so you're going to see it in bars and clubs. Generally, night-time is for heavier make-up. Without it, the face looks washed out under the lights.
However, I agree that too much of it can be garish.
It's pointless to rely on materialistic things like makeup to feel beautiful
Oh come on, you really miss the point. It's just fun to adorn yourself and try different things. It's as ancient and worldwide as there have been people on the planet.

Me personally, I have very blonde eyebrows. In fact, I look almost exactly like the Swedish actress Liv Ullman (and I am of Swedish heritage). But my 'no eyebrow' look bothers me! I think I look like Gollum. So I painstakingly brush my brows with color every day. It's just my own thing, I don't care what anyone thinks. I used to be kind of a nut about this -- One time I was taking my DD to school and we were running late, and she shouted at me PUT ON YOUR EYEBROWS AND LET'S GO! Hilarious!
