Assuming the weather permits any type of footwear, which would you prefer to wear? flip-flops or sneakers?

It depends on where I am, what the temperature is, and what kind of sneaker or flip flop we are discussing.

Plain rubber flip flop: In the house ONLY. NEVER in public.

Coach jelly flip flop: nice and hot out. No rain or puddles.

New Balance sneaker: casual quick run to town for feed and grain, or to the church thrift store.

Coach sneakers: too lazy to dress, just throwing on a polo and skinny jeans to go shopping.

It would depend on where I was going and what I was doing but in most circumstances I would go with sneakers. Mostly as a public service to others because my hooves don't lend themselves to rocking flip-flops.

Flip flops until the snow flies.

I HATE having my toes confined inside shoes. So I wear nice Nike Flip Flops or Teva Sandals whenever possible. Close toed shoes only once the weather gets too cold.

Toes are regularly polished and heels are relatively smooth. If anyone doesn't like it, they can avert their eyes!

I only wear flip flips to the beach or to run outside to get the mail or something.

I only wear sneakers to work out, or if I am going to, say, Disneyland & will be walking a ton (and then I wear converse or something less clunky, not athletic sneakers). Even then, I may go for a flat or a boot.

My go-to casual shoe in warm weather is a cute, flat sandal (right now I favor my silver beaded ones from India) or gold ballet flats.

I wear no shoes but if I have to wear shoes I go with my keds during the spring, summer, and fall and my boots in the winter unless it is a warmer winter day then the keds go on.

No sandals, no thongs, no big monstrous snow boots, just bare feet, keds without socks and regular zip up the side ankle height boots with a small heel.
