^^^Totally.

The clothing brands that work consistently for me are: 7 for All Mankind, Joie, Vince, Theory, Alice + Olivia and sometimes I get lucky with DVF, but I'm not particularly loyal to clothing brands.

Now, when it comes to cosmetics/skin care, I believe that most claims of superiority are merely advertising hype. That said, when it comes to certain items, I'm a slavish devotee. My faves are:

-Kiehls: Intensive Treatment and Moisturizer for Dry and Callused Areas
-Laura Mercier: Tinted Moisturizer, Undercover Pot, Lipstick
-Cetaphil
-Nailtiques

I have tried similar (okay cheaper) products, and I always go running back (like a crazed groupie) to the above items.

I'd consider my favorite brand overall to be Michael Kors (although I'm also partial to Lucky Brand, and Buffalo David Bitton Jeans). I'm certainly not opposed to anything else, but these make up the majority of my brand name clothing and jeans. Nine times out of ten, if I see Lucky or Buffalo Jeans, or just about anything from Michael Kors, I'm buying it, because I already like most of their products.

When it comes to shoes, most of my collection consists of Guess and Nine West, but that's more of a coincidence. Their styles work for me and happen to be in my budget; however but I'm an admirer of many shoes and am not partial to brands, as I have one or two pairs from a few others.
